Our camps are an exciting trip away for kids crammed full of activity and fun. They are based on our experiences running school residential groups over many years and so while enjoyment is high on our list of priorities so is safety. They will do a range of activities each day including some in the evenings, from thrilling white water rafting and gorge scrambles to nature walks and archery. They will also have some free time for playing games at the local park or socialising in the lounge with the other children.
All the food provided will be home cooked and varied throughout the week. We will happily cater to any dietary requirements and will ask you before the camp to let us know of any allergies or intolerances, as well as any medical conditions we should know about.
The camps during summer are designed for 8-12 year olds whilst at Easter we welcome slightly older children aged 12-14 years. Summercamps start on a Sunday evening at 7pm and keep the children occupied right through to the following Friday afternoon. Easter camp starts at 11am on a Tuesday morning and finishes at 12.30pm on the following Friday afternoon.
Your children will be carefully monitored the whole time they are with us. There will be both a male and a female instructor on duty at all times, including through the night. Every activity will be run by appropriately trained and qualified members of staff, who are experienced at working with these age groups.
We usually run 2 Summer camps and 1 Easter camp a year. The dates and costs for 2012 are: Easter: April 2nd - 5th. £285 per child, £70 off further children when booked at the same time.
Summer: July 22nd - 27th and August 5th - 10th. £405 per child, £100 off further
children when booked at the same time.
