Environmental Policy
Dunolly is committed to reducing our environmental impact. We actively promote recycling and try to recycle as many things as possible, this includes paper, cardboard, plastics, glass, cans, metal, wood and batteries as well as composting much of our vegetable food waste.
We use recycled paper and card in the office and recycled paper towels and toilet roll in the bathrooms. We also reuse office paper as scrap where possible and only print documents when necessary. We use biodegradable rubbish bags, paper plates and BBQ cutlery and are increasingly using reusable cups and plates where previously we used disposable ones. Where practical we use low VOC paints and maintenance products. We use environmentally friendly cleaning products throughout the centre.
We promote the use of bicycles, providing places for staff and customers to lock their own bikes on site.
We train staff to be respectful of the outdoor environment, preventing damage and contamination and expect them to pass this on to the groups they are leading.
