16 week Professional Instructor Course
How would you like to have the mountains, rivers, canyons and lakes as your office? Then maybe a career in the outdoor industry is for you. Whether you have just left education, fancy a change from the 9 to 5 routine, wanting to progress your qualifications or are returning to the industry after a break; why not come and join us on our dynamic 4 month professional instructor training course. Learn new skills, gain valuable experience and achieve National Governing Body (NGB) Awards, all of which will help you get your dream job in the outdoors.
The course is a 16 week journey of personal development during which you will be challenged physically and mentally. Anyone can sign up as long as you are over 18, fit and healthy, highly motivated and love being outdoors.
Is it for me?
The Professional Instructor Course is ideal for people who want to develop their skills in outdoor pursuits. By participating in the course you will enhance the start of your career as an Instructor and gain a broad base of technical skills and nationally, some internationally, recognised qualifications.
You don’t need to have any previous experience in any of the activities, but you will need a base level of fitness, have a love for being in the outdoors and be motivated to work intensively with our instructors. We happily welcome applications from people who are looking for a change of direction in their working life.
Next 16 week course is the 22nd October 2012 - 22nd February 2013.
