Aberfeldy is very centrally located within Scotland. Approximate mileages and driving times are given below:

Aberfeldy is a thriving town with shops and restaurants in the main square, just 5 minutes walk from your accommodation at Dunolly House. The local swimming pool and golf course are also close by. For those who are interested - there are 6 pubs to choose from in town! And Internet access is available in the Locus building in The Square.

There is a daily rail service to Pitlochry (15 miles away) on the main Edinburgh/Glasgow - Perth - Inverness train line. Local bus services connect with the Scottish CityLink coach route on the A9.

MUCH TO SEE AND DO

Perthshire offers its visitors magnificent scenes of hills, lochs, forests and waterfalls where you can see a wealth of wildlife. The area boasts many records including that of the longest enclosed glen in Scotland. This is 'Big Tree Country' with many splendid specimens such as Europe's oldest tree (the Fortingall Yew which is over 3000 years old).
