Maintaining the balance between providing adventure and keeping participants safe is critical. We work hard and pride ourselves on a good safety record.
We maintain rigorous safety procedures and policies, and are licensed to run outdoor activities by AALA (Adventure Activities Licensing Authority).
We have risk assessments for all of our activities, as well as the buildings and fire risk assessments. We hold appropriate liability insurances and all activity staff hold first aid qualifications. If you need to see copies of any of our risk assessments or insurances we will happily provide them.
All of our staff are of course trained and qualified to instruct the activities, they are also selected for their skills at relating to people. We encourage instructors to form a professional bond with their group; this helps create trust and build confidence so that each participant can get the most out of their activities.
All staff are required to undertake an enhanced disclosure from Disclosure Scotland, including office and domestic staff.
